What a 90-Day Marketing Roadmap Should Include

A good roadmap does not try to do everything. It makes the next set of decisions visible, achievable, and measurable.

Ninety days is long enough to create momentum and short enough to keep a team focused. The most useful roadmaps connect business priorities with the work that needs to happen now, not an unranked list of marketing ideas.

Begin with the outcome

Define the business result and the audience or market change that will support it. State what success should look like at the end of the period, including the evidence that will show progress.

Include the few things that create leverage

A roadmap should identify the core strategic decision, required research or preparation, the priority initiatives, responsible owners, decision dates, and measures. It should also name what the team will deliberately defer.

The purpose is focus. When the plan is concrete enough to guide a weekly conversation, it becomes a useful management tool rather than a presentation.
